Our hearts are so full and we thank God every day for bringing us two happy, healthy, beautiful baby boys.

It's taken us two weeks to get in the swing of things around here, especially after my delivery.

I hope to share their birth story soon.

Day(s) Late & A Dollar Short

Ya'll! It's like I have fallen of the blog wagon. I was doing sooo good and life just got in the way :) I feel like I have so much that I have forgotten to blog about.

My 27th birthday was October 4th. It was a very great day! Actually, it was a great week. My darling of a husband sent me birthday WEEK flowers on that Monday. I am typically not a flower person, but they were such a great surprise!

The night before my birthday, or Birthday Eve, I walked back to the bedroom to find a couple of decorations :)

The morning of my birthday, I was treated to a new Vera Bradley! I seriously love my Vera :) I also had another special delivery at work that day from my hubby.

We ended up eating birthday dinner at my parents, and my Dad cooked my favorite meatloaf and my Momma cooked my favorite mashed potatoes and icebox cake. It was a wonderful day! We continued the celebrations onto Saturday, when we went for a massage and out shopping and to the winery. My family made me feel so loved and special - I am so blessed!

Happy Birthday!

I am taking a break from regularly scheduled wedding programing to wish my husband a Happy 28th Birthday!

This is the first birthday in YEARS we have actually been in the same physical location. And it is his first birthday as a husband! I have to say, shopping for birthday cards in the "husband" section was really fun.

I cannot say enough how blessed I am to have Justin as my husband. After 12+ years of being together, every day I wake up and am so excited to spend another day with him.

He makes my days brighter. I can't stay mad for long at all, even when he drives me crazy! He can just look at me and crack a joke, and I'm done.

I cannot wait to see what our life has in store. I know it will only get better and more exciting. I look forward to the days when we have little babies, and toddlers, and pre-teens running around our house to celebrate with us. But for now, I am content to have this time just the two of us.

Happy Birthday, Justin! You make me want to get up every morning, just so I can see you smile and hear your laugh. Here is to many, many more together. I love you to the moon and back.

Until Next Time,

Claire

Yikes! It's been a long time.

So for the one to two people who actually MAY look at this, I apologize for being a lazy blogger. Life has been seemingly crazy here lately.

I started my first "big girl" job with an actual paycheck and benefits on October 3rd. Jumped in head first and have never looked back. Most of the time, when I have a client, I just have this overwhelming urge to say "Who in the heck thought it was smart to let ME be in charge here?!" But then I reign myself in and realize I do have SOME brains and a stack of letters behind my name. So surely I can manage.

Then, October 4th was my 26th birthday. My first birthday WORKING in a "big girl" job. It was actually a pretty great day. Although I had court all day, my second momma made me delicious champagne cupcakes and brought them to the courthouse (where she also works). J and my mom both sent me flowers. My momma and daddy cooked a wonderful southern meal for me that night. And gave me/us a new set of luggage! Woot! Along with a new Vera Bradley briefcase. And my in-laws got me a new Vera Bradley purse. All in Suzanni.

So all in all, it was a pretty great birthday, I must say.

This past weekend, J and I worked in our yard. I LOVE Fall and decorating, so of course, this being our first fall as a married couple, I just had to spruce things up a bit. We had such a good time working outside together. That is how I know I have married my best friend - even doing something as seemingly mundane as yard work, we have a ball together. Saturday evening, we invited Dust & Case over, and Adam and Danielle, for a little cook-out and firepit time. It was so fun just to sit outside and laugh over our ridiculous medical stories. Pretty sure we all learned WAY too much about everyone!!

I will say - I hated to see Monday come. On a bright note, I put some beans in the "crackpot" this morning, so dinner will be mostly done when I get home. Nothing like some good 'ole ham 'n beans and cornbread!

XOXO- C
